During the past 4 years, it has really been an honour and privilege to serve the District as one of your Councillors. Having lived on the North Shore for almost 25 years and served in volunteer and Board roles with many organizations across the lower mainland, I have the experience with governance, business acumen and collaborative approach to continue representing you on Council. I was first elected to District of North Vancouver Council in 2022.

My educational and work experience allows me to engage deeply on complex issues facing our community:

I'm currently consulting on housing and property management issues for a non-profit organization.
I graduated from UBC with a Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing. This has provided me with a solid business foundation and enhanced my communications skills.
I worked at BC Housing for six years in Real Estate Services, which provided me with experience to address housing issues in our community.
I managed the BCIT Downtown Campus and the Institute’s real property leases for over nine years. This experience has reinforced my appreciation of “life-long learning” and its role in building a vibrant and diverse community.

My volunteer work, especially the roles I have undertaken in the District, demonstrates my commitment to our community:

Served as Vice-President/Treasurer of PH Community Association for 19 years
Engaged as Board member, including Chair of the Finance & Admin Committee, of the Downtown Vancouver Association for over 15 years
Served with North Vancouver Community Association Network (NVCAN), including 2 terms on Executive
Served as Vice-Chair on the North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission
Served on the District’s Community Services Advisory Committee
Coached and managed teams for North Shore Girls Soccer Club for over 7 years
Mentored four different "littles", including two young boys from the north shore, as a Big Brother for 19 years

In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, pickleball, skiing and playing ice hockey (ASHL) at Canlan Sports.
